Build or Refurbish Your Own Furniture
This is surprisingly fun, especially for you artsy-fartsy people out there. I’m not saying you should go dumpster diving for old crap to fix up. That’s gross. Thrift stores, garage sales, or the reject clearance furniture that is hideous beyond belief can pretty much all be transformed with a little TLC and elbow grease…or nails and paint.
You know that feeling you get when you power through those directions that are clearly written in a badly-translated version of English and put together a bazillion-piece desk or bed? The feeling of refurbishing furniture is like that, minus all the annoying grammar issues.
